Happy Birthday!

We celebrated our April Birthdays this week!

Wake up Ladybugs!

We spent some time this afternoon finding ladybugs.  They were hibernating under leaves by the fence.    After holding a ladybug for awhile, one boy let the ladybug down and gently covered it with leaves.  "Now it's nice and warm", he said.  Love the compassion!

Four new students will be starting Pre K in our classrooms next week.  Welcome!

Cutting Butterflies

We have been strengthening our Fine Motor Skills by cutting butterflies from folded paper.  It was a tricky activity, but I am proud to say that many of the children did a wonderful job!  They are on their way to building strong muscles in their fingers and being strong enough to learn to print with ease.

Traverse Wall

Mr. Risling left the Traverse wall up for our Pre K class to play on today.  What a treat!  What a fun way to build our Gross Motor Skills!
