Creativity in Our Classroom

We do not often prepare an organized craft that everyone participates in, but rather art supplies are made available for the children to create what they wish.  Children learn much more from creating something that they are truly interested in.  This week, There were some very creative creations!

    PUPPETS!

This young man worked carefully to mold a witch from plasticine.  The witch had a pointy nose and a pointy hat.  He wanted her to go to sleep, so he removed her hat and made her a pillow and a "blankie".   You can see here that she is covered up to her nose.  Her hat is off to the side.
