Brown Bear, Brown Bear

We have been reading the book "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" by Bill Martin Jr. and Eric Carle.  It is a book with lots of repetition which helps children "read" along with the teacher.  The book is also great for teaching Colors.  Mrs. W made a Flannelboard story to go along with the book.  She demonstrated using the story this morning.  During playtime, some students took the opportunity to read the book themselves and retell the story using the Flannelboard.  What a good literacy activity!
